How to Root Samsung Galaxy Y S5360

Some android application need root access permission. If you want to give that permission you need to root your android mobile phone.

The following steps are guide to Root your Samsung Galaxy Y S5360.

   



Step 1 : Backup your phone memory

    
While rooting, your phone memory will be cleared. So you must backup your phone memory. Otherwise you lose your SMS, Contacts, Settings and etc which is stored on phone memory.
  

Step 2 : Download and Transfer

           
  • Download Rooting package for Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 to your computer. Click Here to Download.
  • Then transfer the file ( Update.Zip ) into your SD Card or Memory Card using USB Cable or Card Reader or Bluetooth.
  • If the file is copied, Insert your memory card into your mobile.
      

Step 3 : Recovery mode

       
  • Switch off your mobile.
  • To Enter Recovery mode on Samsung Galaxy y S5360, Press and hold Volume up + Middle button then press power button.
  • Now Android system recovery is displayed on mobile screen. Press Volume UP and DOWN Key to move selection.



  • Go to apply update from sdcard, then press middle button. 
  • Now, Go to update.zip, then press middle button. Rooting Process will be started. you must wait for few minutes. 

     

Step 4 : Reboot your Samsung Galaxy Y S5360

           
In Android System Recovery
  • Go to ../, then press middle button. 
  • Go to reboot system now, then press middle button. 

Now your Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 is successfully rooted.
