A compact portable machine design

The frames of these machines are very compact. For proof, although these models are equipped with screens 14 and 15 inches, dimensions are rather those of laptops with screens 13 and 14 inches. Made of brushed aluminum and crude as well as fiberglass (in some places), this frame of 1.49 cm thick an Intel Core i5 Ivy Bridge processor, which is responsible for the calculation and display with its integrated graphics, 8GB of memory and a 128GB SSD for storage. In addition, the eight-cell battery allow this mechanism to hold more than 10 hours away from the socket.
The matte screen of the Series 9 displays a definition of 1600 x 900 pixels and brightness to 400 nits is announced. Brightness, like the keyboard backlight, adapts to the ambient light in the room with a light sensor. Finally, the proposed connection is fairly complete with two USB 3.0 ports, USB 2.0 and memory card reader hidden behind a small door port. There is a video output microHDMI hosting a HDMI / VGA adapter (included) and Gigabit Ethernet port is also mounted on an adapter to connect to the machine. Wi-Fi n and Bluetooth 4.0 are also on hand to complete the whole.
